Adoptable Dogs
Goose
Male / Approx. 8 Years Old
Current Status: Accepting applications for foster to adopt!
Meet Goose, a lovable 8-year-old male Boykin Spaniel who is looking for a special foster to adopt home. 🤎🐾
Goose is housebroken and crate trained, but he could use a patient foster who can help him brush up on some basic obedience, structure, and confidence-building. He is still intact and, right now, what he needs most is reassurance, love, attention, and the security of knowing he’s safe.
Goose is in tact, so will need to be fostered through neutering. Adoption can be made final once he has recovered.
Goose is incredibly friendly and affectionate with people. 🥰 He would probably do best in a home without other male dogs, or with a family who has the patience and experience to guide him through slow, thoughtful introductions.
This sweet boy has so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him a little guidance and a soft place to land while he figures out his new chapter. 🏡🤎
Could you be Goose’s hero? 🐾

Drake
Male / Approx. 2.5 Years Old
Current Status: Drake is accepting applications!
Hi there, I’m Drake! 🐾 I officially turned 2 years old on March 8th 2026 and I’m ready to find my ultimate forever family! My foster parents say I have the most loving personality. I absolutely adore getting affection, and I’m fully built for a lifetime of hugs and kisses. I’m already proud to say I am completely house-trained and crate-trained! Because I’m still a young pup I’m looking for a leader who can give me a little guidance on my basic manners so I can officially graduate from my puppy phase into a distinguished big boy. The great news is, I am incredibly smart and a super fast learner, so training together will be a breeze (and a lot of fun!).
My Ideal Home: I would thrive best in a fun, loving home with an active owner who enjoys dedicating time to my training and growth. My foster mom thinks an adult-only home or one without young kids would be the best fit for me. However, I get along great with other pups, so I’d love to have a dog sibling to hang out with! I also need a fence.
Are you the family I've been waiting for?

Ella
Female / Approx. 10 Years Old
Current Status: HW+. Applications open for foster~to~adopt.
I’m Ella and I’m an older Boykin lady, and I am very much a lady. The shelter that I was taken to and the dog doctors that I have seen believe I am 10 years old. I was found wondering in a small rural community in South Georgia. My person did not come to claim me, and the shelter contacted OLBD knowing they would take the very best care of me. Thankfully I went to OLBD as my life depended on it! I have heartworms, and OLBD is having me treated to bring me back to my most healthy self. They also had my teeth cleaned and fixed for me… no more sore teeth. I love my balls to chase and retrieve, and I know the word ‘sit.’ I am house trained and kennel trained. I do love car rides too and going places with people. I do have some vision loss when it comes to finding my ball. I use my sense of smell to help find the ball when I cannot directly see it. So far only finding the ball is when my foster mom thinks I may have some vision loss. Since my foster home has all kinds of animals and small children around, I can proudly say that I am bomb proof when it comes to any kind of animal or livestock and young children. I get along with all other dogs and share my food. I never growl or get upset. I am a go with the flow kinda lady. My foster mom wants you to know that I have the sweetest personality and easy to have around. I deserve my own person who I can keep company and who will occasionally toss a ball for me and take me with them on walks or trips to a park or anywhere they desire. I don’t need lots of room as I am a lady and not high strung. I do like water and getting into kiddie pools, so if my new person could provide me a small kiddie pool I would be so thankful. I so look forward to meeting my forever person!
Because Ella is HW+ she will be a Foster to Adopt while in treatment

Cocoa
Female / Approx. 10 Years Old
Current Status: Open for applications
Cocoa, or Little Lady as we call her. Is a very sweet, submissive older lady who has some spunk left in her. She loves to cuddle and sleep on the couch. She would do well in a house where someone is home with her all day. She gets anxious when left alone but is not destructive. She is fearful of thunderstorms she just sits and shakes. She is fine with other dogs and couldn’t care less about cats. She isn’t aggressive at all. She will walk away from her food instead of fighting for it. Once she gets settled into a routine she has had minimal accidents in the house. She needs to be in a fenced in yard because she will run away and has no recall. We are not sure about children because she hasn’t been exposed to them. She doesn’t really bark unless she is left alone with all our dogs.

Briar has found his foster family!
Male / Approx. 7 Years Old
Current Status: Applications are closed!
Briar is a purebred, male Boykin Spaniel with beautiful eyes and a big heart. Our sweet boy is approximately 7 years old and working through some training barriers. He will need a family with a strong alpha parent who is ready and willing to put in the time and work needed to get him where he needs to be, socially speaking.
This sweet boy is shy when warming up, but once he knows he is safe with you he is all yours. When he feels secure he loves belly rubs and pets from his people. He truly enjoys being able to run and enjoy smelling all the smells in his territory. For this reason, we are recommending a fenced yard.
Ideal Home: Low-key lifestyle and family with an alpha parent or individual who enjoys exercise, outdoor time, training and a fenced in yard. Briar’s foster mother believes a family with small children would not benefit him at this time.
Personality: Shy, but once trusting he is a lover!
Briar needs a strong personality, is that YOU?
